I had developed expertise in eCommerce business support when I started this project with this client. I had experience of working with Amazon Marketplace and associated support tasks including customer support solution. So, when I got the offer, I grabbed the opportunity immediately.

 

Our Client:

The client was RRS UK. The owner is a renowned Orthopaedic Surgeon in the U.K. who had no idea about developing such a business. He only had a strong wish and good quality patience to run the show. We agreed to a mutual contract that we have to continue for 6 – 12 months to get the result to reach the break-even point or profit.

 

Challenge:

The main challenge was we only had to depend upon the drop-ship model at the starter level as the client had no time look after any warehouse, was too much for investment as well. The other challenge was the client had no idea previous experience of building such a business to provide with any policy or strategy, even he did not have much time to communicate every day. I and my team had to take sole responsibility.

 

Solution:

I manned my best team for perfect product research for this dropship model in Amazon UK. We had to affix certain parameters to find the best suppliers with the best quality feasible as well as profitable products to start selling through Amazon as soon as possible. I also trained my CSR team for the very first month to act on when the selling will start.

 

Results:

The sale started in the second month and accelerated from the third month. Now after handling the account for the last 7 months, it is generating a good amount of sale and covering his recurrent inventory investment every month. It is now on such an acceleration (Avg. Sale 22,000 GBP per week min), within a few more months – one year of the business opening he is going to enjoy a huge profit considering his all kind of investments here.


Further Scope:

Now I am moving his business to FBA, another level to hike the sale and profit level and also trying to open accounts in other marketplaces like Amazon .de, .fr, .es, .it or .au or .com/ .ca. Even we are researching for other portals like eBay and self website store through Shopify.
